Actor Sam Asghari looks better than ever amid his divorce from pop star Britney Spears.
The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce from the 42-year-old pop star on August 16, 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
The two began dating after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. He popped the question in September 2021, just two months before a controversial 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021. They tied the knot with a star-studded studded in June 2022, but according to court documents, they separated at the end of July 2023.

Stress and fear of not getting anywhere [in life] combined gives me depression.”
To get back in shape, the actor began exercising for two hours every day and radically overhauled his diet to cut out fast food and processed snacks. He began modeling, which led him to pursue a career as an actor. “I’m focused on work at the moment,” the 29-year-old told Page Six.
However, that’s not her only source of income now that she’s split from the pop star. He has also opened his own personal training company, called Asghari Fitness, which offers its members personalized training programs and a seven-day meal plan for just $9 a week. She also provides workout inspiration on the brand’s Asghari Fitness Instagram account.
Sam also told the outlet that he is still single, adding, “I definitely won’t be joining any dating apps anytime soon. That’s for sure.” He went on to joke that the only woman in his life is his Doberman puppy but stated that “in the near future” he would like to adopt another dog following his partnership with PETA.

On December 19, Sam shared two posts on Instagram announcing his new partnership with PETA. The ad encourages consumers to adopt, rather than buy, a new pet. Many fans were skeptical about why the brand chose Sam for the ad, especially when the organization dropped Britney in August 2023. Two weeks after the divorce made headlines, Britney announced that she had gotten a new dog named Snow, who doesn’t sit. right with animal rights organizations.
At the time, a PETA representative released a statement to TMZ, saying, “When influential people buy puppies, puppy mills cheer and animal shelters watch the homeless animal crisis worsen. With this adorable post, Britney Spears has condemned countless dogs in shelters to more days without love, a comfortable bed to snuggle in, or a chance at a real life.
