Sam has apparently moved out of the house, with a source telling the outlet, “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.” Sam reportedly believes rumors that the pop star is unfaithful to him, but it’s unclear if there is any truth to these rumors.
Later on Wednesday night, a source told Page Six that Sam would want a large settlement from the divorce in exchange for keeping quiet about some embarrassing information about Britney. The 29-year-old actress is reportedly “trying to negotiate concessions outside of her prenup and threatening to go public with highly embarrassing information about Britney unless she is paid.”
“So that’s what Sam is focused on,” they added, though reps for Sam and Britney have yet to return requests for comment. Another source confirmed to Page Six that “Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor,” adding, “Any money she makes before the wedding is protected.” The “Stronger” singer asked her attorney, Matthew Rosengart, to hire a family lawyer to draft the prenup.
Another source told Page Six on Wednesday night that the pop star has hired high-powered divorce attorney Laura Wasser amid the split.

On Wednesday night, a source for People magazine also confirmed that the couple had officially split. There are reports that the couple has been on the rocks for a while. Earlier this year, they were photographed out and about without their wedding rings, though a rep for the actress told the magazine that she took the ring off because she was filming a movie.
Sam has played a huge role in Britney’s life even before her conservatorship ended. In April 2019, a source for the family told the publication, “There’s no question that Sam is great for Britney. He’s a very positive influence on her. He’s very motivated to stay healthy and fit, and they often work out together.”
