Actor Sam Asghari spent time in Austin, Texas, just days before his ex, pop star Britney Spears, officially released her memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
Just last week, the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor was in New York City for a mix of business and pleasure, joking that he was visiting the Big Apple for “lots of pizza.” Now that he’s in Texas, Sam dresses the part with a black cowboy hat and boots.

While some fans loved the photo, others couldn’t get over her outfit!
“When tourists come to Texas,” one fan wrote along with a laughing face emoji. “Save a horse. Go cowboy,” another follower gushed. “Sam, I like the way you get out and move but I prefer you without the cowboy hat and boots. However, not everyone who commented on the post was a fan of Sam, with one user calling him, “Nothing but a user.” One follower applauded, asking, “Britney cheated on him. Are you going to defend him?” There are allegations floating around that Britney not only cheated on him with a domestic worker but also physically assaulted him several times during their relationship.

Sam and Britney began dating after he appeared in her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. He popped the question in September 2021, just two months before a judge overturned his 13-year conservatorship. The two married in June 2022, but the actress filed for divorce on August 16, 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
As for Britney’s memoir, she filed for divorce after Britney reportedly signed off on the final draft, so she’s barely mentioned in the tell-all memoir. Despite their estrangement, Sam told TMZ last week that he had already read the book and was “very proud of it.” He later said, “You know, he put a lot of work into it and it was really hard, so I’m definitely excited and I’m really proud of him. It’s a really tough one, and, uh, you know, I can’t wait to read it. I will be the first in line to buy it.”
