Samar has been interested in singing since childhood and started covering musical events in small towns. She made her singing debut with the Bhojpuri song “Ganna Ke Ras” (2015.)
In 2002, he recorded his first Bhojpuri Holi song “E Gol Gol Ka Ha;” however, the song was unsuccessful. In 2015, he recorded his second Bhojpuri song “Ganna Ke Ras,” and the song became very popular and went on to receive more than 86 million views on YouTube. In 2016, his song “Ratiya Kaha Bitawala Na” gave him the much needed fame. Later, he gave many hit songs including ‘Gehu Katab Na Saiya’ (2019), ‘Gurahi Chalebiya’ (2019), ‘Naihar Me Dhan Katvayenge’ (2019), ‘Jindagi ke kinara’ (2019), ‘Korwa Mein Suta Ke Chal Gailu’ (2019), ‘Lela Makasi Maza Di’ (2019), ‘Kakari Bhail baa Kamriya Lapak ke’ (2020), and ‘Dharawela Tharesar’ (2020).

Damned for posting about Akanksha Dubey
After the death of famous Bhojpuri actress and Samar’s girlfriend, Akanksha Dubey on March 26, 2023, Samar’s phone was switched off for a few hours. Finally, she took to Instagram to post a “RIP” status for him with the caption “Nishabd.” She got trolled by people who blamed her as one of the reasons why the actress committed suicide.

Accusations of murder
He is also blamed for bringing Akanksha to commit suicide by her mother, Madhu Dubey. According to Madhu, Samar and his brother Sanjay Singh tortured her and even threatened to kill her. He was also not paid because he suffered from severe depression. To prevent Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh from leaving the country, a lookout notice was issued against them on 6 April 2023. He was arrested in Ghaziabad on 7 April 2023.
