Jackson recently spoke with Rolling stone about his film career and his new Marvel show “Secret Wars.” During the conversation, one of the topics that came up was Brie Larson and the sexist treatment she received from fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She said, “Brie is a stronger person than people give her credit for.”
Jackson also talked about how Larson rejected all the bad treatment and didn’t let “any of those things destroy her.” She said, “These incel men who hate strong women, or the fact that she’s a feminist who has an opinion? Everyone wants people to be who they want to be. She is who she is, and she really is.”

Jackson and Larson have worked together in several Marvel movies since he joined “Captain Marvel” in 2017. They both appeared in “Avengers: Endgame” and are slated for the upcoming “The Marvels,” which will be released on November 10.

Internet trolls found fault with Larson for her character’s humor and confidence and made sexist attacks on the actress.
