Interestingly, the show did not mention Kim Cattrall, the actress who gained global recognition and earned a loyal following by portraying the aggressive and assertive publicist Samantha Jones.
Speculation about Cattrall’s potential return to the “Sex and the City” reboot continues to captivate fans and spark discussion. Previous reports indicated that the 66-year-old was effectively ruled out of any potential return to the show.
However, in February of last year, The Blast reported that SJP decided to share his thoughts on extending the chance for Cattrall to rejoin the series. During the interview, the “Failure to Launch” star expressed her reservations, stating:
“I didn’t think I would [be ok with it] because I think there is too much history of public feeling on his part that he shares.”
He also mentioned his avoidance of reading articles related to the topic, despite being informed by others about ongoing discussions. ICYMI, the alleged feud began when Cattrall expressed his less-than-positive opinion of his co-stars and the “Sex and the City” franchise during an interview with Piers Morgan in 2017.
