Savannah Chrisley Has Doubts About Her Future As A Family Woman
Savannah continues to open up about life after Todd’s legal troubles and Julie make her the sole carer of her 16-year-old brother Grayson and her ten-year-old niece Chole — who her parents took from her brother Kyle in 2016.
In the latest episode of her podcast, “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” the 25-year-old beauty opens up about her feelings and discusses what her future looks like with such a heavy responsibility. Starting a touchy subject, he stated:
“I’m in that anger part of grief right now. I’m just angry at everything. And also, after taking the children. I was like, ‘Okay. Do I really want children? do I You know, see how much this has affected us?’”
Although she has admitted that her reaction was borne from a “place of anger,” the reality star still made it clear that she has no bad feelings about stepping into a major role for children. She insisted that she was enjoying spending quality time with her two adorable children who she considers her “everything” before continuing:
“I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s really hard to be 25 and have two kids and try to figure out what’s best for them because usually you’re going to grow — like you grow from one to two to three to four. Like you can grow through the ages. Now, I’m just thrown into it.”
During the conversation, the “Growing Up Chrisley” star revealed that she got a glimmer of hope during a recent trip she and the kids took to visit Todd. He recalled that Grayson and Chloe were in high spirits despite the situation, “laughing and singing and cutting,” and then he realized “we’re going to be fine.'”
Savannah has been slowly finding her feet since her parents’ incarceration, most recently dipping her toe back into the dating pool. The actress also confirmed she was dating someone during an interview in March, sharing that she was keen to keep him from peeking in a “safe place” until she knew where the relationship was going.
