Savannah Chrisley spent her first vacation without her parents!
The eldest daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley has been holding down the fort following her parents’ incarceration for fraud and tax evasion. However, being his siblings’ keeper doesn’t mean the 25-year-old doesn’t need his parents.
The “Chrisley Know Best” star recently opened up about life without her parents. In an emotional post, the former beauty queen discussed how the holiday season magnified her loss.

Set to Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me,” a song that evokes sad childhood memories, the reel shows different pictures of Chrisley’s children attached to household appliances. Next to these images are handwritings from the bible.
A recurring theme in the photos is the face of a media personality, proving that this is a collection of memories with loved ones. The first set of pictures shows the 25-year-old posing with his younger brother Grayson, niece Chloe, his mother and father.
There was also a group photo of the influencer’s entire family, including his grandmother Nanny Faye and his brother Chase Chrisley. Another image features moments from the “Growing Up Chrisley” star’s childhood.
Some of the verses attached include Psalm 23:4, which reads, “Though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, it comforts me.”
Underneath this Bible verse is Romans 8:18, “The pain you are feeling cannot be compared to the joy that is to come.” Before the video ends, the camera zooms in on a picture of Savannah and Todd dressed in ski parkas. Another verse written on a “Team Chrisley” picture note board read, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4.”
That quote resonated deeply with Todd and Julie’s oldest daughter as her heart longed for her parents. In the caption of the post, the blonde sweetheart admitted that life hasn’t been the same since the incarceration of her people.
“When this holiday weekend rolls around, all I feel is sadness. In 25 years, I have never spent a day off without my sweet mama and papa. Not only is Easter this weekend… but my dad’s birthday is tomorrow.”
The TV personality continued, “OH, HOW I PRAY FOR TIME TO FLY! Can it be Monday already? When you lose someone special, your world lacks its celebratory quality. The holidays magnify the loss. Grief deepens, and silence can be isolating.”
The former Miss Tennessee Teen USA titleholder stated that pretending to be fine is not right as the need for support increases during the holidays. Instead of avoiding her sad feelings, the podcaster embraced her.
“It’s not sadness you want to avoid; it is a pain. No one can take the pain away, but grief is not just pain; sadness is love I LOVE YOU, MOM AND DAD!” the loving daughter added, closing her post with information about female inmates with underage children.
