After Savannah’s parents went to prison in mid-January, the reality TV star used her podcast, “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley,” to talk about the struggles of caring for her younger brother, Grayson, 17, and niece, Chloe, 10.

Revealing how brave her siblings are, she added, “But these kids have shown me so much love, patience, grace, understanding, and appreciation! Helping raise these two little ones is the hardest but most rewarding job I’ve ever had.”

“I always say, ‘God destined me to be a mama!’… little did I know, the journey will start sooner than expected! But luckily, I have the MOST AMAZING mama in the world to learn from! Because of him, I can do this!…,” Chrisley wrote.

The podcaster went on to praise single parents for going it alone. In his words, “Single parent/income household… I SEE YOU! We did it solo. IT IS HARD! It can be very overwhelming! But I promise you… God will NEVER give us more than we can handle! I SEE YOU! I BELIEVE IN YOU! YOU CAN DO THIS!…”

The Atlanta Native Was Uncertain About Starting Her Own Family

Being a big sister to her younger siblings was already a heavy responsibility, but taking on the role of a solo parent was a completely different burden that Chrisley had to face on her own.

As a result, the reality TV star revealed on an episode of her podcast, “Opening up with Savannah Chrisley,” that she is unsure about her future after providing for her younger children.

She began by admitting, “I’m in the anger part of the grief right now. I’m just angry at everything. And also, after taking the kids. I’m like, ‘Okay. Do I actually want kids? Do I You know, looking as far where has this affected us?”’

Noting that she has no bad feelings about stepping into an important role for the kids, she insists that she enjoys spending time with Grayson and Chloe, who she considers “everything” to her.

Chrisley went on to add, “I try to be a good adult figure in their lives, but it’s really hard being 25 and having two kids and trying to figure out what’s best for them because usually you’re going to grow – like you can grow from one to two to three to four. Like you can grow through the ages. Now, I’m just thrown into it.”
