Savannah Chrisley’s fight to free her parents — Julie and Todd Chrisley — from prison may end sooner than fans expect with an upcoming appeal case.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” star recently talked about her parents possibly coming home by summer and how she plans to move forward from this challenging phase of their lives.
Savannah Chrisley Is Excited About The Possibility Of Having A Parent At Home By Summer

Savannah confirmed her parents achieved a small victory last winter when the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to hear oral arguments in their case.
Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud and tax evasion in November 2022 and reported to prison in January 2023.
The pair were initially sentenced to a combined 19 years; however, they managed to reduce their sentences by the end of 2023.
Todd is currently serving a reduced 10-year prison sentence in Pensacola, Florida, while Julie is serving a reduced five-year prison sentence in Lexington, Kentucky.
However, asking them to serve a reduced sentence is not Savannah’s responsibility, as she hopes to resolve the matter through an upcoming appeal case. Share his optimistic thoughts with ETThe couple’s eldest daughter said she:
“Looking forward to our appeal on April 19. Obviously, I’m hoping to bring them home, maybe in the summer.”
Todd & Julie’s Return May Help Their Daughter’s Dream

Ever since Todd and Julie were incarcerated, Savannah has been actively trying to help them regain their freedom while raising her two younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe. When asked how she takes on this responsibility, the 26-year-old shared:
“Just trying to do it all. Raising a 17- and 11-year-old is a full-time job, but also working and trying to provide a life for them and fighting day in and day out with lawyers to get my parents home.”
Although it’s been a challenging few months for Savannah, she’s excited to start a new chapter once Todd and Julie come home to take over the reins of parenthood. He talked about his dream of becoming a lawyer, confessing:
“I will if my mom comes home. I’ve told Grayson that I will. So if Mom comes home, definitely him and Chloe, or if Mom and Dad come home, then I’ll definitely go back to school and try to be a lawyer.”
“It’s never too late to chase your dreams. If I could have been a lawyer by the time I was 30 or 32, I probably would have,” the reality TV star chimed in.
Savannah Has A Loving Boyfriend In Her Corner
Until her parents’ possible return in the summer, the “Growing Up Chrisley” star can count on her loving boyfriend, Robert Shiver.
Savannah became Instagram official with her beau last November, just three months after they started dating in August. Sharing how amazing her lover was in her darkest hour, she raved:
“Robert has been a great support system, and it’s just a very grown-up relationship, you know?”
“He has his own business. I have my own business, but we can lean on each other,” he continued. Aside from Shiver, the 26-year-old’s support system includes trying new things and embracing a “yes year.”

Four months before raving about the possible return of her parents, Savannah is unhappy with the alleged target behind her father inside the prison walls.
The “Unlocked” podcast host claims his parents, especially his father, had a hard time behind bars. Todd reportedly suffered backlash for his shocking revelations about prison conditions. In Savannah’s words:
“It’s really hard [for them] since I started talking about everything. That was the hardest part. Especially for Dad. There is a lot of retaliation, so we have to worry [about him].”
Prison Guard Accused of Abusing Todd

Savannah claims Pensacola correctional officers mistreated her father, and she has been denied services such as off-the-record phone calls with her attorney. Additionally, officials of this facility allegedly discussed the possibility of draining Todd’s commissary account.
Although her mother did not face the same level of abuse, Savannah insists that she lives in deplorable conditions, where male guards target several female inmates.
Despite the alarming backlash, Savannah refuses to stop speaking out on behalf of her parents. He states they want him to keep fighting, with Todd telling him:
“If I’m not comfortable implementing and forcing change, then I’m willing to do it.”
