Savannah Chrisley Says ‘Federal Institutions Cannot Guarantee’ Her Dad’s Safety

The fight for prison reform continues with Savannah Chrisley dropping terrifying allegations against her father’s prison facility.

The daughter of Todd & Julie Chrisley has spoken out about her parents’ suffering behind bars since their 19-year joint conviction. However, speaking out against the system only increased the pain of his loved ones.

Savannah recently claimed her father has suffered consequences from his latest interview on the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp and may be transferred to another facility.

The drama begins when Todd opens up about the horrible living conditions he and his friends were imprisoned in. Shortly after the interview, his daughter almost appeared on a news show to reveal the consequences of his actions.

Savannah caught the outlet’s attention through an Instagram post, slamming the warden at her father’s prison. He claimed prison chiefs tried to send Todd to another facility for interviews because they believed he was “inciting a riot” and a risk to “Institutional Security.”

When asked about her comments, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star confirmed how bad her father’s condition is at the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp. In his words:

“The revenge is real. It’s heartbreaking for me to see as her daughter, but they’ve gone so far as to say they’re going to try to send her to a state facility because our federal institutions can’t guarantee her safety.”

She explained to host Chris Cuomo on NewsNation’s “Cuomo” show that people working at the prison facility gave her information about her father’s condition and the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP). He pointed out that this revelation “should scare the warden and the BOP.”

“The BOP has called me a liar many times, but I have all the information to back it up,” Savannah confidently declared and then added, “And these letters, I mean, I even have recordings of them talking about my dad’s delivery. “

According to the source, prison chiefs cannot send Todd to another facility unless they find him “violating” their rules. They are accused of planning an evil scheme to get patriarch Chrisley thrown out to achieve their goals. Savannah said:

“So I’ve heard they’re going to plant cell phones, drugs, through his locker so they can send him to a facility and actually in prison.”

During her interview, Savannah stated her fight for prison reform may have started since her parents’ incarceration, but she is truly passionate about helping other inmates get a second chance.

“Today, I am accused of being a ‘democratic socialist,’ and you look at it and you laugh, and my answer is: ‘Why? Because of my love for criminal justice and giving this man a second chance?’” Savannah recalled.

He also slammed the prison system for wasting money, noting that those incarcerated for white-collar crimes, like his parents, are different from ordinary cases. According to him, the 2023 report showed “13,000 men were sent home,” and only 22 of these men became repeat offenders.

“So clearly, it works. Why are we housing this guy and wasting taxpayers’ money?” Savannah argued. “We’ve wasted a hundred and forty million dollars putting these men in prison when they should have been out six months to a year ago.”

Allegations of revenge against Todd are not Savannah’s first allegations of abuse by her father. Last November, the former beauty pageant contestant explained what she described as a worrying situation inside prison walls.

“It’s really hard [for them] since I started talking about everything. That was the hardest part. Especially for Dad. There is a lot of retaliation, so we have to worry [about him],” he explained in an interview.

Savannah opens up about Todd’s plight, accusing prison guards of discussing the possibility of draining her father’s commissary account, an action she sees as a harsher form of retaliation.

The trouble didn’t end there, as Todd was allegedly denied an off-the-record phone call with his attorney. While her mother was spared the same treatment at her prison facility, the TV personality says Julie faced a different hardship.

According to Savannah, her mother had a miserable life behind bars, and male guards at the facility were accused of abusing several female inmates.
