The “How We Roll” artist first indicated that the reaction at the time was mixed, as some “came for me, and there was a group that showed me love.” Regardless, he says, “In those moments, you just have to be confident in your vision.” He goes on to explain:
“Like me, I had to create a vision in my mind and you know there’s nothing better in any aspect of life when your love supports you and what your vision is and you can’t think too much about what people are going to say in those moments. ”
The “1, 2, Step” singer’s reaction to the co-parenting question was reminiscent of when her ex Future faced backlash from fans in 2019 on social media over his comments about Ciara’s NFL player husband Russell Wilson.
During the interview, the “Mask Off” rapper openly questioned Wilson’s manhood during the interview on FREEBANDZ RADIO on Apple Music. The 39-year-old stated, “He did what he was told. He is not the man in that position.” Future suggested that Ciara’s boyfriend should be more strict in their relationship.
He mentioned that if he were in the former Seattle Seahawks quarterback’s shoes, he would set clear boundaries, insisting that he shouldn’t talk about Future or any of his exes.
