Shemar Moore is loving life as a father, and his 6-month-old daughter is Daddy’s girl.
The “Criminal Minds” star has been on cloud nine since he welcomed his first child, a beautiful baby girl named Frankie Meleine, with girlfriend Jesiree Dizon in January. The proud father always celebrates his daughter’s success with fans, and they did not miss the latest one, which he says has completed her life.
Shemar Moore Shares Clip of Baby Frankie’s First Words
The “SWAT” star captured her adorable son talking on camera for the first time and shared the video with her 4.3 million Instagram followers earlier this week.
Moore was simply invisible in the post, mocking Frankie, who was held by Dizon. She encouraged the little one, wearing a pink onesie, to say “Dada”, but she made cute noises instead.
However, after several failed attempts, baby Frankie touched his father’s face and uttered the words he had been waiting for, squeals of joy from both his parents. The “Butter” actress had a sweet caption to accompany the heartwarming video that read:
“I’m officially DA DA!!! My life is complete!! Friends, family, Jesiree and Daddy’s lil Miracle… Frankie Muthaf***n Moore… I love you, Jesiree… thank you!!! I love you all!!!!!”
Moore’s fans seemed moved by the heartbreaking family scene, with one writing, “Awww so sweet! I love how Jesiree is more excited than you! Lol, Congratulations again, Shemar!” The second responded by writing, “said her baby girl [dada] awww,” while a third added, “He did. I bet your heart melts when he says, Dada.”
“What an absolute blessing!!! Your mom looks down and smiles big for this,” wrote a fourth fan. A fifth admirer shared, “This really made me cry!!!! A precious moment you will never forget!! Greetings to all of you!! ?? ? ?.”
Not long ago, The Blast reported that the father-daughter duo mirror each other. The NAACP Image Award winner took to her social media to share an adorable side-by-side photo of herself and her adorable little girl and a solo photo of Frankie wearing a straw hat and her grandma’s blue onesie.
Unlike the youth photos, as seen in the first slide, Moore’s photos are from a long time ago. They both posed with their heads turned away from the camera and smiling widely.
The post’s caption, which read, “Frankie and Daddy TWINNING ??…Swipe to see Frankie steal Grandma Marilyn’s swag hat ??,” drew attention to the similar features she shares with her daughter. And some netizens agree with that sentiment, however, others believe she looks more like her mother.

The 53-year-old must have found an angel on Earth in his daughter as Heaven gained one in her mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, who died about three years ago. Since the loss, the loving son has made sure to keep his memory alive and fulfill his wishes.
As previously reported by The Blast, the Santa Clara University alumnus took his partner and daughter to his late mother’s grave and posted images from the visit on Instagram.
Fans can see the “Justice League: Throne of Atlantis” actor holding a glass of white wine as his little bundle of joy rests in the corner of his other hand. The tombstone is emblazoned with “This house is my son’s house.”
A note under the post read in part, “Shemar, Jesiree, Frankie, and the spirit of Grandma Marilyn….. Momma’s dream was for me to be a father and give Mama some grandkids… it took me a minute, but Momma’s dream is now here. reality!!”
She went on to cite how she couldn’t deal with her mother’s passing without Dizon and wrote, “Jez, I love you and I’m so grateful… Dad Dear Frankie… I love and miss you everyday, Grandma Marilyn RIP 2/8/20 .”
