After months of being single and rumored to have dated Zayn Malik and Chaismokers’ Drew Taggert, the beloved pop icon for the first time seems to have confirmed she has a man in her life.

Gomez confirmed the shocking news in the comments section of her Instagram account @popfactions after they posted a post hinting that the “Single Soon” singer was dating producer Benny Blanco.
Blanco is the acclaimed producer behind hits like Halsey & Khlaid’s “Eastside” and Calvin Harris’ “I Found You.” He also collaborated with Gomez on “I Can’t Get Enough” featuring J Blavin and Tainy.
The upload in question was initially uploaded on December 4 and features a carousel of scenes where Gomez may be hinting at her relationship with the 35-year-old songwriter. The post included a clip of Gomez admitting she’s in love during an episode of “Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays.”
There’s also a screenshot of the “Only Murders In Building” star praising the publication of Blanco’s cookbook on her Instagram Story. “One of my favorites is releasing a cookbook,” she wrote.
However, three days after @popfactions shared the post, Gomez did the unthinkable and wrote in a comment, “Fact,” as if confirming they were telling the truth. But he didn’t stop there.
The Rare Beauty founder then took things further in the comments section of her fan page @selenagomezbr2.0, giving some insight into her romance with the Virginian. He is everything in my heart.”
When fans tried to slam her choice for “Graduation” producer, Gomez didn’t hold back, replying, “then why is he the best thing that ever happened to me. Finish.”
In another response to critics, he wrote, “lol yeah, and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.” Gomez continued to clap back at the haters, writing:
“I do not understand. If you really care about me. This is my happiest. If you don’t feel free to say whatever you want. But I will not allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I’m done. if you can’t accept me at my happiest then don’t come in [my] life at all.”

However, the latest response to the criticism was Gomez posting a romantic photo of herself and Blanco on her Instagram Story. The Disney alum was seen leaning on her shoulder as she lovingly placed her arm close to his face. However, most of Blanco’s face was cropped out of the post.
It’s still unclear when Gomez and Blanco became an item, but they began working together professionally in 2018.

Another comment read, “I love her but this is a shame…she really underestimated her to bring up her ex.” Others suggested her relationship with Blanco was inspired by Justin Bieber’s ex.
