Chelsea Lazkani is leaving her marriage of almost eight years.
The “Selling Sunset” star recently filed documents, now obtained by The Blast, asking for a divorce from Jeffrey Lazkani, who she walked down the aisle with in 2017.

Chelsea Lazkani Wants Joint Custody Of Her Children With Jeffrey Lazkani
Chelsea has filed for divorce from Jeffrey, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Despite their marital rift, the “Selling Sunset” star says she wants her and her partner to have physical and legal custody of their two children — Melia Iman Lazkani and Maddox Ali Lazkani.
The mother of two also wants Jeffrey to pay his wife’s maintenance and legal fees. He added that the full details of his separate property assets and liabilities are currently unknown.
However, the filing claims that once the assets are determined, he will seek permission to include the information in the petition or will disclose it in his “Preliminary and/or Final Declaration of Disclosure.”

The impending drama following Chelsea’s March 27 divorce filing at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles is not entirely lost on fans.
The reality star previously feuded with her “Selling Sunset” co-star Bre Tiesi over raising a child with a man — Nick Cannon, whom she is not married to.
Now, it looks like Chelsea not only has to take back her words but may have to ask Bre for some tips on raising kids in a broken household.

How Love Between Couples Begins?
Regarding Chelsea and Jeffrey’s relationship, PEOPLE reported that the couple met on the dating app Tinder in 2015.
In fact, as Chelsea previously admitted, Jeffrey was her first date from the app when she first moved to Los Angeles.
He revealed that he did not intend to stay in California for a long period, but he decided to stay because of her. Speaking about their relationship, Chelsea stated during an interview:
“We talked about 15 times before getting together. I didn’t want to waste my time and give my energy to someone if I didn’t think it was worth it. I felt like I knew him before we met, and the connection was immediate.”

Two years after they met, the two exchanged vows on August 12, 2017 and celebrated their wedding ceremony at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.
After their wedding, the newlyweds embarked on an extensive honeymoon, exploring Thailand before stopping in Singapore and culminating in the Maldives.
After that, Chelsea and Heffrey welcomed their son Maddox in January 2019 and their daughter in November 2020.

Bre Tiesi: ‘I’m Done With This Show’

Aside from potentially giving advice to Chelsea in the upcoming “Selling the Sunset” season 8, Bre previously hinted at quitting the show.
She said, “I love Jason, I love girls, I love all of that, but at the end of the day, I’m about my bag.”
The 32-year-old insists that if he chooses, he’d rather face criticism in a space where his efforts are more cheaply compensated.
Just before her reveal, Bre had been embroiled in a fight with Chelsea and newcomer Cassandra Dawn Repstad.
According to The Blast, the trio’s ongoing rift culminated in a heated exchange at an Oppenheim Group event that saw him storm out.
Mainly, he angrily voiced his frustration, saying, “I’m done with the whole f—— s—! I’m sick of this s—! F— show. F— this f—— office!”
