Taking to her Instagram story to talk about the show’s third nomination, Heather dropped a reaction video featuring her husband, Tarek El Moussa, in the car. The expectant mother began the clip by asking Tarek — who was on his phone — if he had “heard the good news,” prompting the “Flip or Flop” alum to reply, “what?”
“‘Selling Sunset’ has been nominated..again…for the third time for a People’s Choice Award,” Heather said as her husband chimed in, “go vote. They deserve to win this year.” The clip, which Tarek reposted to his own Instagram Story, has the words:
“AH!!! Just found out Selling Sunset is nominated again for the @peopleschoice award for “The Reality Show 2022″!!! The third time the charming man voted vote vote!!!”
Bre Tiesi also joined Tarek in reposting Heather’s video with her own reaction written in the bottom left corner of the clip, which read, “Ahhhhhh that’s amazing!!!!! He added that he thinks his dog is the “real star of the show” and continues to appreciate the support of his fans, encouraging them to vote. After the 41-year-old stated that “the competition is fierce,” he panned the camera towards his girlfriend, G-Flip, to ask if she could “at least count” on their vote.
The singer quickly shouted, “get it, baby,” and Stause ended the clip by revealing that even though she didn’t win at the People’s Choice Awards, she was a winner at home. The real estate agent also took to her Instagram feed to post a headshot of her nomination category, writing in the caption:
“Ahhhhh THANK YOU @peopleschoice for the NOMINATION!!! I really love the other women in my category so it’s amazing to be with them #SellingSunset also nominated for best reality show. Link in bio!”

Heather Rae Young Delights in Second ‘Selling the Sunset’ Emmy Nomination
Back in July, The Blast noted that Heather boasted about her association with “Selling Sunset” following her second straight Emmy Award nomination. To that end, the February 2010 Playboy Playmate shared a clip of herself in an all-white ensemble consisting of a camisole and suit jacket.
The Anaheim native’s formal look was completed with gold accessories, including hoop earrings, a necklace and several bracelets. Heather begins the video by announcing the big news, excitedly sharing how “proud” she is of the “Selling Sunset” family and Netflix.
The real estate guru said he would commemorate the nomination by holding several interviews. He appealed to his social media followers to keep an eye on various news channels. The blonde beauty also shared a post by one of her co-stars, Davina Potratz, who marked the series’ nomination by dumping an image of the actress online.
In the picture, the female stars look triumphant in their matching white outfits next to the men in all-black ensembles. Unfortunately, the show lost to “Love on the Spectrum US” in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category.
