Accused rapist Matthew Nilo and his fiancee appeared united Tuesday as they entered a Boston courtroom for a discovery hearing.
The glamorous couple held hands tightly as they entered Suffolk High Court on Tuesday for a hearing where both sides will share their discovery files.
The lawyer, 35, wore a gray suit fitted with a striped tie and sunglasses while his fiancee, Laura Griffin, wore a stylish brown trench coat, white turtleneck and black trousers.
Neither Nilo nor his lawyer spoke as they made their way down the cobbled road to court.
Griffin has remained supportive of Nilo since his arrest in May and has often been by his side in court, even holding a rosary during proceedings.
Nilo is accused of raping or sexually assaulting several women in Boston’s North End and Charlestown between 2007 and 2008, when he lived there.
He was charged with aggravated rape, kidnapping, assault with attempted rape, and indecent assault and battery.

He was released on $550,000 bail in June and has pleaded not guilty.
Tuesday’s hearing consisted of sharing discovery notices, according to local channel WCVB.
It was reportedly discussed whether identifying information about the victim would be handed over to Nilo or if it would need to be redacted, the local outlet said.
The decision is not clear.

The Boston native — who now lives in New Jersey — was arrested in May at his Weehawken home after the FBI lured him out of his apartment by having the front desk call him to say there was a large package to pick up.
Nilo had been living in the North End of Boston when the alleged attacks took place and was probably around 19 or 20 years old at the time of some of the rapes.
One of the alleged victims in the case was attacked twice in an 11-day period, according to the district attorney.

“The incident follows the same pattern. “The victims were attacked when they were walking alone, in the dark, either at night or early in the morning,” the DA’s office said in a statement.
District Attorney Kevin Hayden said DNA evidence from Nilo’s glasses used at corporate events was used to link Nilo to the alleged crimes.
Nilo has become a person of interest in rape in 2022.
Nilo’s attorney has accused the government of “stacking” unsolved sexual assault cases against his client and claims the government obtaining Nilo’s DNA from a drinking glass was “unconstitutional,” because he claims authorities did not obtain a warrant first.
