The singer’s lyrics in several songs have referenced their relationship, breakups and rumors of infidelity, but she is reportedly ready to air her dirty laundry on TV.

Mexican journalist Enrique Acevedo wrote on Instagram, “I am happy to share with you that tomorrow on Canal de las Estrellas news, we have a preview of our exclusive conversation with Shakira. We went to Barcelona to talk about his music and lyrics, what he’s going through in his career, and what’s next in his life.”
The interview will air today, February 27, and she is expected to give more details about her current personal situation and the separation process involving their two young children,
The only other time Shakira was open about her breakup with Piqué Elle magazinebut he did not elaborate on Piqué.
“Everything is so raw and new. I can only say that I put everything I have into this relationship and my family,” he said Ella. “In 2014, I knew that my career had to take a back seat. I knew I had to establish myself in Barcelona and be there for my children and for Gerard. I mean, one of us has to make a sacrifice, right?”

The song refers to Shakira and Karol G’s breakup with their significant others.
Karol G broke off her engagement to Anuel AA in 2021. In April 2021, she released a statement to Instagram.
“If accepting it is hard enough, imagine having to do it in front of millions of people,” Karol wrote in Spanish on his Instagram Story. “For a long time we tried to keep our relationship away from social media to protect ourselves. We have never used our relationships for marketing purposes, not today, not even almost three years ago when we started [dating].”

They sing about not repeating the mistakes they made in their love lives, adding that they have become stronger by spending their time with people who aren’t right for them.

In “TQG” Shakira admits “seeing you with a new girl hurts me,” but in the same breath she sings, “but I’m now focused on me. I’ve forgotten about what we lived together and that’s what offends you. Life I’m getting better, I swear you’re no longer welcome. And what your girlfriend throws at me, it doesn’t bother me or make me laugh.”
Shakira also referenced her new relationship in her “BZRP Music Sessions #53.”
He sings, “I’m worth two out of 22 [year old]. You trade a Ferrari for a Twingo. You trade a Rolex for a Casio. You go fast, slow.”
