“At least he didn’t suffer,” Ricarda Louk told German broadcaster RTL.

He said his daughter’s body has not yet been found, but fragments of skull bones were found and submitted for DNA testing that confirmed her death.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday confirmed that DNA found on the skull fragment matched Louk.

“This means that these barbaric and sadistic animals only cut off their heads when they attack, torture and kill Israelis,” Herzog told Germany’s Bild newspaper, according to a translation by i24 News.

“What we see on the Gaza-Israel border goes far beyond pogroms. We saw a slaughterhouse,” he said.

“We saw blood flowing in the streets. We have seen the most horrific tragedy imaginable,” Herzog concluded.

Louk’s sister, Adi, also posted a broken heart emoji as she shared with “deep sadness” the news that her sister was killed in a “blood festival in Re’im.”

As the terrorists flooded the festival, Louk called his mother to tell her he was trying to get to his car to leave. A few hours later, Shani’s family came across disturbing footage of his seemingly lifeless body lying in the back of a pickup truck surrounded by armed men.

The gunmen chanted “Allahu Akbar” — Arabic for “God is Great” — as they paraded Shani’s body, eventually taking it to the Gaza Strip, the video showed.

Louk, a tattoo artist, has lived in Israel but spent part of his childhood in Portland, Oregon, where he attended kindergarten at the Portland Jewish Academy.
