Shanna Moakler is feeling emotional thinking about her late mother.
The former Miss USA continues to mourn the loss of her mother, Gail Moakler, several months after the tragedy. To that end, Shanna has chosen to perpetuate the memory of her late parents by sharing her effusive post on social media.

In her latest effort to honor her mother’s memory, Shanna recently brought home one of Gail’s favorite pieces of art, which she showed off in a recent update. Through her Instagram story, the reality TV star shared a drawing of an octopus.
The background consists of a nude and greenery theme, and the sea animal’s tentacles are very detailed. In the caption alongside the image, the 48-year-old wrote, “This is my mother’s favorite piece of art; I just got to LA. It was very emotional for me ?.”

After her mother passed away unexpectedly in January, the star took to her page to share some of their sweet moments. The actress is always proud of her mother’s achievements, even going as far as uploading pictures and praising her qualities.
When she’s not talking about it, she emphasizes the bond she and the 77-year-old shared while alive. For starters, he once uploaded a screenshot of a text conversation between him and Gail, in which the latter had sent a video of a snow-covered street.
Gail had written a heartfelt message in the exchange to her daughter, “We should get snow today or tomorrow. I look forward to it [.] I like snow.”
When the former pageant queen responded with “Lucky,” the older woman shared how satisfied she was with her state of mind and body. He also expressed his love for his family and ended with a sweet message for his daughter, “I love you, baby.”
The model responded and wrote, “A good mother loves you too.” Before ending the conversation, Gail added a final message, “I need my girl [.] you mean so much to me you don’t know. I am very proud of you. I’m so proud to be your mama.”
Before sharing the screenshot, she uploaded a few recent photos of her mother in her youth, expressing deep sadness and loss. A younger version of himself can be seen posing next to Gail in a series of slides. She captioned one of the photos with a touching message that read:
“This is the day I’ve always dreaded losing my best friend, support system, and beautiful mother. I honestly can’t find the words to express how loving, kind and amazing she is.”

As reported by The Blast, the brown photo shows a young Moakler sitting on a small tricycle while his mother lovingly holds him and the vehicle, presumably to keep him steady.
The executive producer of “Miss Nevada USA” was caught with his mouth wide open, clutching the handlebars of a tricycle. She added a touch of humor to the post, captioning it with “Me with my mom” and a laughing emoji, revealing her lively spirit from a young age that continues to shine as she grows older.
His fun personality comes out more during the holiday season, such as the Fall season, which includes Halloween. She proved how much she loves certain holidays when she took to her page to share creative suggestions to make the period memorable.
Among the plans is to visit a pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins and maybe use them to bake some pies. In addition, she intends to enjoy quality time with her family by watching movies, stargazing, apple picking and making caramel apples.
She also expressed her desire to ride hayrides, have bonfires, jump on leaves, attend fall festivals, and go “trick-or-treating” for Halloween.
