Up until her mother’s death, Shanna loved her all over social media platforms, sharing pictures and praising Gail for her character. According to the latest update of the Miss New York USA 1995 pageant winner, she won’t be stopping the tradition of showing off her mother anytime soon.
The mother of three took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of a text exchange between her and Gail. Sending her daughter a video of the snow-covered road, the parent wrote:
“We should get snow today or tomorrow. I’m kind of looking forward to it [.] I like snow.”
In response to “Lucky” Shanna, Gail revealed that she is in “such a good place right now,” both mentally and physically. After expressing his love for his family, he added, “I love you baby.” The model responded to the outpouring of love, writing, “Good mommy loves you too,” before her mom finished:
“I need my girl [.] you mean so much to me you don’t know. I am very proud of you. I’m so proud to be your mama.”
While it’s hard to gauge her fans’ reaction to the Story, you’ll remember that Shanna was overwhelmed by an outpouring of love when she confirmed her mother’s death. Taking to Instagram to announce the sad news, the 47-year-old uploaded several pictures of her mother when she was younger.

“This is the day I’ve always dreaded, losing my best friend, support system and beautiful mother. I honestly can’t find the words to express how loving, kind and amazing he is.”
Shanna admits that she doesn’t know how to “do this life without him” and says how “lucky” she is to be Gail’s daughter for as long as she does. “He was everything I hoped for and I will miss him every second of every day. I love you mom. Kiss Vo vo for me and hug mason. Please visit me in my dreams,” said the “Hollywood Exes” cast member.
“I am so sorry for your loss. She must be beautiful like you. Keep your head up high. You will definitely see it in your dreams,” a fan confirmed in the comments section.
During their last Mother’s Day celebration, Shanna posted an old photo of her and Gail standing outside an unfamiliar building. He wrote below:

The Blast noted that little Shanna was seen clutching the handlebars of the bike, looking away from the camera with her mouth wide open.
