Being a mother can be one of the most thrilling feelings, but it also comes with its challenges and responsibilities. And no exception to the happy feeling is Sharna Burgess.
Burgess, in a recent post on Instagram, opened up to fans about her ordeal as a new mother. The talented dancer was transparent with her followers as she explained her struggles with balancing work and family life.
The new mom welcomed her baby boy, Zane Walker, with her partner, Brian Austin Green, in June 2022. The couple became an item after being set up by their mutual business partner.
Sharna Burgess Talks About Her Struggles as a New Mother
The mother-of-one opened up to her fans on Instagram, as she detailed her hectic life as a mum and also gave an update on the progress of her four-month-old baby boy, Zane.

She posted a carousel of photos and videos featuring herself, her partner, Green, and their adorable baby boy. From the pictures and clips, the parents seem to love their little one very much and shower him with lots of love and kisses.
One photo from the slide shows a doting father holding his son and staring at him in awe. Zane, wears a blue sweater and beanie, while Green wears an army green shirt and a green face cap. Another slide shows a selfie of Burgess in full makeup as she sits in a car. Also included in the broadcast was a video of the beautiful mother kissing her son while playing with him.
Opening up about her post, she wrote, “Everyone loves a dump today…”. He later thanked his followers for their concern for his son.
“Thanks, everyone, for asking about Zane, he kicks anything in a day, tbh it could be a growth spurt or teething. This week has been a lot of hugs, a lot of love, and I can’t believe how big he is.”
Burgess also explained to her fans what she’s been through, “I literally live in sweats and no makeup, so a selfie is needed one day I manage to put in some effort 🤣.”
She went on to add, “Mommy life is busy, and at the same time, I’m nowhere. Between pumping, feeding, playtime and everything in between, there’s no time left in the day. Tbh I realized at one point I haven’t showered in 2 days….And I’m a 2 shower a day person!!!”
The “Dancing With The Stars” pro, however, seems to have figured out a way to make his job easier. He wrote, “Finding time and balance is a new skill I’m trying to master. I wouldn’t change a single thing, though, I’m obsessed with life and everything.”
Burgess Still Understands She’s a Full-Time Mom
While the 37-year-old is enjoying every bit of motherhood, there are times when the unexpected happens, and that’s simply because she hasn’t fully activated her mom mode yet.
According to The Blast, last month, the choreographer joked in her Instagram feed about how she sometimes forgets that she is a mother.
Burgess looks gorgeous in a brown sweatshirt and syncs the audio to the reel, “You know what I started thinking the other day that was really funny? I am a mother”. He then continued to laugh uncontrollably while holding a little teddy.
The skilled dancer continued, “I have a child that is my only responsibility,” as she laughed again. And adds “Holy Sh*t” before the audio ends.
Describing the clip, she wrote, “so last night I made a huge mistake… I started a new book and stupidly stayed up until midnight reading it. I couldn’t put it down!! (Yeah, it was stupid lol) oh, rookie mistake…. Act like I don’t have a 3 month old who needs me at any moment.”
The Couple Celebrated Their Second Love Anniversary
Burgess’ recent Instagram update comes after the lovebirds marked two years of love as a couple. The couple, whose romance has blossomed and produced a precious gift, their baby boy, shared a sweet tribute.
Per The Blast, Green posted a photo carousel on Instagram that included pictures of Burgess, their baby, Zane, and their three other children.
She shared a touching caption, praising the mother of her four-month-old son, writing, “The life we created and continue to create is better than anything I could have imagined :)) I love you ❤😊.”
In addition, the Australian-born dancer also expressed his love for the “Don’t Blink” actor. She wrote, “2 years tomorrow with this one. And she’s getting hotter 🤤🥰.”
