Sharna Burgess’ Thanksgiving Has ‘DWTS’ Written All Over It!

Although this year’s “Dancing With The Stars” may have come to an end, Sharna Burgess has proven that the show’s cast members’ friendships and bonds have transcended.

Their love for each other shines through as the crew comes together to celebrate Thanksgiving together in ‘DWTS’ style. And Burgess had the perfect picture to prove they had a good time.

Despite not twirling in the ballroom this year, Burgess has worked on the dance competition show for so long that many of the cast members have become like family to her. So it was an easy decision for him to be part of the audience to entertain his friends during the live performance and finally spend Thanksgiving with them.

The Australian dancer shared an Instagram image that included her and her husband, Brian Austin Green, with her co-stars such as current champion Mark Ballas and his wife BC Jean Ballas, co-host Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife Angela, Derek Hough, Emma Slater, Gleb Savchenko, Daniella Karagach Pashkova , Sasha Farber, and Britt Steward.

“So grateful for yesterday and being able to share it with these special people. … Thank you @mrsangelaribeiro1 and @therealalfonsoribeiro for always being our hosts and opening your home to us all these years. This year feels extra special,” Burgess began under the sweet photo.

“I have a big beautiful family, I have a boy who is healthy happy and oh so beautiful, the man I love so much, my mother moved her whole life here to share with me, and friends like in this photo who have become my family for years now. Several decades. People who give me a sense of belonging, community and connection when my family is worlds away. The show that was home and where I grew up. In front of you all who are reading this. So thanks for all that. And I can’t wait for more of that.”

Fans loved the photo because it made them happy to confirm that the “DWTS” cast is getting along well in real life. “I’ve been watching the show for years and it’s so sweet to see how you all relate to each other outside of the show,” commented one excited fan.

Burgess previously worried viewers when she announced her exit from “DWTS” in September. The Blast shared that the doting mother chose to refocus her sights on spending time with her son, Zane Walker Green.

The mother of one admits that some long conversations and thinking about the right course of action led to her not taking part in the show’s 31st season. Despite the “difficult” decision to step back from the season that just ended, thinking about the time spent away from her son and the other time spent on travel, prep, makeup and hair, made her realize a few things.

One thing is that she should be with her son “in the moment” and “live and cherish” those moments regardless of the magic and beauty of “DWTS” season 31. Fortunately, the dancer plans to be on the show “in some capacity, ” declaring that his body is one hundred percent efficient, fit and strong.

The TV personality posted a photo featuring her partner, Zane, and her three children from a previous relationship, lying together in bed. Green wrote in the caption:

“October 16th 2 years ago was a day like any other, but I made plans to meet someone new for coffee. God I thank you every day for that. You are the light of my life, my other children live, and the most amazing person I have ever met.”

He concluded that the life they shared was better than he could have imagined.
