Cher’s daughter-in-law, Marieangela King, has claimed the singer kicked her out of her marital home. King claims she has no access to her belongings and shares assets with her husband, Elijah Allman.
According to reports, King also revealed that Cher had kidnapped Elijah on their anniversary in 2022. He claimed to be “currently unaware” of his location and health but knew he was in a treatment facility.
Elijah is reported to be back in recovery after a troubled six month stay at the Chateau Marmont Hotel.

Court documents obtained by Dailymail reveal that Cher allegedly kicked her daughter-in-law, Marieangela King, out of the home she shared with her husband, Elijah Allman. According to King’s filing, the iconic singer and actress forced him out after Elijah began receiving “medical care” in late 2022.
King claims he and Elijah were together until late 2021, and he then failed to pay his wife child support. He said, “I only received the sum of $25,000, half of the support owed. I lost my housing and health care and had to leave the country to stay with relatives for a while.”
Elijah is Cher’s youngest of two children and her only child with her second husband, Gregg Allman. Her brother, Chaz Bono, is the son of the “Burlesque” actress by her first husband, Sonny Bono.

According to King, he was blocked from access to their storage unit, which contained several valuables. He mentioned that the unit holds “art, antiques, all of our furniture from our second home that we have together in Beverly Hills, and other assets accumulated during the marriage.”
King wrote that most of the items in the storage space were “one-of-a-kind pieces” and quality musical instruments associated with the separation. He said they “need to be properly evaluated before we can set a trial or reach a resolution.” The couple’s divorce proceedings are ongoing, and it is unclear when they will be finalized.

The singer said they had been in New York for 12 days reconciling and working on their marriage when it happened. He said, “On November 30, 2022, the night of our wedding anniversary, four people came to our hotel room and took Elijah out of our room. I was told by one of the four men who brought him that they were hired by his mother.”
King further claimed that he was “not currently aware” of Elijah’s condition or his location but knew he was in “confinement at a treatment facility that has not been disclosed to me.”
It should be noted, Cher may have carried out an intervention to get the treatment that her son desperately needs.
Elijah Allman Is Back In A Rehab Facility

According to reports, Elijah is now in a rehab facility after a harrowing six months at the famous Chateau Marmont Hotel. An insider told the publication that concerned hotel staff contacted Cher because of Elijah’s constant drug use and disheveled appearance.
The source said, “Almost every morning and evening Elijah can be seen in front of the hotel on the sidewalk either leaning against the wall or sitting on the sidewalk smoking. He would come out with a cigarette and when he finished it, he would pass out.”
Things don’t get any better when Cher hires a caretaker to monitor Elijah’s health at the dorm. The source said, “The guard will be sitting in the hotel entrance area just waiting to see where and what Elijah is doing.” At one point, hotel staff found him unconscious at the entrance, and soon after, police arrived to escort him to a rehabilitation facility.
