Christine Brown is speaking out against her ex-husband, Kody Brown who abused his wife Meri Brown and Janelle Brown.
The reality star’s relationship with her ex has continued to deteriorate since she shocked “Sister Wives” viewers when she announced that she was leaving him in November 2021. Her dismissal was immediately followed by Janelle in December 2022 and Meri in January 2023, adding even more heat to the controversial situation.
Christine Brown Has No Hope For Kody Brown In Treating His Woman Right
In a recent episode of Sister Wives,” Christine visited Janelle at her apartment in Flagstaff, Arizona, and they chatted about ongoing family issues. They focused on the impact of Janelle’s heated argument with Kody, with the 54-year-old expressing uncertainty about the future of her marriage to the patriarch.
He openly stated that if he and Kody were going to start over, a lot of things would have to change, even though he wasn’t entirely convinced that he was really interested. When his ex-wife asked if he was “over” the marriage, Janelle replied:
“Yeah, but when I talk to him, I remember the old Kody. I don’t know.”

Sharing with the camera that she couldn’t go back to how she was before, Janelle reflected on how she had overlooked many of the issues that were troubling her, especially how her children had been affected by everything.
The whole conversation led to Christine revealing during her confessional that Janelle has a lot to handle right now, especially as she navigates her increasingly complicated relationship with Kody.
However, he does not believe that staying in this marriage is the best path for his sisters. In his words, as emphasized by PEOPLE:
“He still loves her. He loves her. I don’t think Kody will change. I think Kody will always be running around Robyn and her life for the rest of her life, and I don’t think she has room for Janelle in that life.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the 51-year-old addressed Meri’s confession that Kody “basically left me,” claiming, “I watched Kody tie Meri up for years. It was mean and cruel, and I saw that he would do the same to me if I remain.”
Speaking on the same issue, Janelle pointed out that “things are obviously very broken” between Meri and Kody, adding, “Meri keeps holding out hope, I think, that something will happen. But Kody doesn’t speak well to her, he doesn’t really take care of him. It’s very sad.”

After cutting all ties with Kody, Christine revealed her engagement to her boyfriend of four months, David Woolley, in April. The TLC star revealed her relationship in February and has now taken this important step, announcing via social media:
“We are engaged! David popped the question VERY romantically, and I said YES! I am so excited and living in happiness every day!”

“David treated me like a queen and told me I was beautiful every day. I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it,” Christine said at the time.
It’s worth noting here that the details of how Christine and David met are still unclear, as she only made their relationship public in February through an Instagram story. In her announcement, she mentioned that she had met a new man exclusively, describing him as “amazing, romantic, and so nice.”
