The reality star updated her timeline with the cutest photos of her family despite all the drama with her ex-husband, Kody Brown. Janelle is the proud mother of the six children she shares with Kody after she joined his plural marriage as his second wife in 1993.
Janelle Brown Is ‘Happy Mom’
The 54-year-old melted hearts on Instagram after she posted a new family portrait and captioned it with, “Finally got a picture with my baby. Happy mom ❤️?.” Her six children with their spouses and three grandchildren flanked the star as she looked radiant in a pink maxi dress.
The post has garnered over 66k likes and tons of comments from fans and followers who have showered him with praise and appreciation. One excited fan wrote, “Nice pic Janelle. Pat yourself on the back mom.. you did it?”

Leading up to the birthday rant Janelle has sided with Gabe and Garrison Brown in their ongoing feud with their father, Kody. From an episode of the 18th season of their hit show “Sister Wives,” which returned to television last month, the mother of six spoke about the bad blood between her son and Kody.
According to The Blast, Janelle confirmed during a hangout with another ex-wife, Christine Brown, that she will not be spending the holidays with the rest of the family at Robyn Brown’s house. On the issue between father and son, Janelle said:
“Kody feels like they owe him and some kind of conversation and stuff out of disrespect,” calling the situation a “disagreement. I’ve always said I chose my son before Kody. What I’m going to do, go over to Robyn’s house and hang out with Robyn’s kids and Mary and Kody?”
Janelle’s stance certainly contrasts with Kody’s narrative, who stated in a confessional for the episode that she wanted a chance to “clear the air.” He continued:
“If something political or something about COVID or my own experience with it comes up, and we end up turning into an angry conversation. That’s a stupid thing I’m not going to bring into my home on vacation.”

However, Kody believes they still have a chance at another relationship despite all that has happened. The Blast reports that Kody suggested taking Janelle out on a birthday date on an episode of their family show to show how dedicated he is to working out their differences.
Kody took Janelle to an expensive restaurant in Arizona, but this grand gesture did little to change Janelle’s decision about their marriage. The 52-year-old revealed in his confessional that things had gone too far between them, and there was no hope left. In his words:
“I don’t think there’s much of a way forward for Kody and me. We’re just different people now. He thinks differently. He was very, very busy with the children at Robyn’s house. Robyn and he were of the same mind. They want to live the same life. And I’m really looking for a relationship where I’m treated as an equal.”
Her statement matched her reaction during the restaurant date when she rejected Kody’s request for a goodnight kiss. “At one point I slipped my hand into him out of habit, and I thought this felt very strange, and I took my hand back from his. It doesn’t feel right anymore.” the grandmother of three said of the act.
A shocked Kody responds to Janelle’s rejection and wonders why they can’t go through with the reconciliation. He added, “So we had a bad fight, we were worse. So we broke up, we had another breakup.”
Janelle quickly reminded him that “there’s nothing else there. Just not there. Our relationship has unraveled over the years.” The “Sister Wives” star has now accepted her current single status and is not interested in dating again, waiting for a sure sign and guidance from God.
