‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Tried To Check On Son Before His Death

Garrison Brown, the late son of Janelle and Kody Brown, reportedly made his mother worry about his well-being before his tragic death on Tuesday.

The “Sister Wives” star’s fourth child reportedly sent a disturbing text message that sent her scrambling to find someone to check on her. Unfortunately, Garrison killed himself with a gun before those close to him realized something was wrong.

Janelle Brown Contacted Garrison Following His Last Text Message

Following the confirmation of Garrison’s death by suicide on Tuesday, authorities contacted Janelle and described their conversation in a police report. Police said the mother of six last communicated with her son after he sent a disturbing text message the day before.

Janelle told authorities that her son had sent obscene text messages to a group of people who worked with the Brown family, possibly those associated with their reality TV show. According to the police report, his last message to them read:

“I want to hate you for sharing a good time. But I can’t. I miss these days.”

Apparently Garrison didn’t include his mother in that group; however, he heard the alarming message and immediately called his son. In her conversation with authorities, Janelle stated she texted the deceased, and they had a brief conversation for a few minutes before he stopped responding.

His lack of response sets alarm bells ringing in Jenelle’s head, and she pleads with her other children to check on their brother. His fifth son, Gabriel, volunteered to perform a medical check-up at the Garrison in Flagstaff, but it was too late when he arrived.

Surprisingly, Garrison’s three roommates were unaware of his death. In their interviews with authorities, some of them claimed they heard a pop on Monday night, but they did not believe it was a gunshot.

To make matters worse, no one thought to check on Garrison or figure out the source of the noise. They remain unaware of their roommate’s death until Gabriel arrives and finds his brother’s lifeless body with a gun.

The shocked siblings immediately called 911, and that’s when Garrison’s roommate realized he had taken his own life. The trio claimed the deceased struggled with alcohol, while Gabriel insisted he did not know about his brother’s issues, per TMZ.

Gabriel explains that Garrison seems fine, noting he recently got a new job at a medical facility. Meanwhile, Janelle told authorities her late son had been estranged from his father, Kody, but it’s unclear how or if this strained relationship contributed to his death.
