A man died Saturday in a skydiving accident in Florida.
He was found wearing parachute gear in the backyard of a home in the beach town of Titusville, east of Orlando.
The residence where the man was found and pronounced dead at the scene is just a block from Arthur Dunn Airpark, a public airport where several skydiving centers are also located.
Titusville Police detectives believe the man parachuted himself but did not release any further information. An investigation is ongoing, the department said in a news release.
The Titusville Fire Department first posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, about the incident.
Brevard County Fire Rescue was also on scene and an initial request for a helicopter was canceled, according to the X update.

In 2020, two skydivers taking off from Dunn Airport were seriously injured after an apparent parachute malfunction, authorities said at the time.
Video shows the two men in free fall, spinning around as they plummet to the ground before hitting a tree and landing in the yard of another nearby home.
