Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have now addressed the ongoing speculation of a rift between the two.

Rumors of their relationship have been circulating on social media for half a decade, stemming from Bieber’s (née Baldwin) love affair with her current husband, Justin Bieber.

MEGABieber famously dated Gomez from 2011 to 2018. He was seen getting friendly with his now-wife during the period when his relationship with Gomez was believed to be ‘broken’.

The Biebers will marry in September 2018, just months after her relationship with the “Lose You To Love Me” singer finally ended.

Both Bieber and Gomez have spent a lot of time trying to destroy the narrative on social media and in interviews. Now, both women have come out and addressed the heightened interest in their relationship over the past month.

The latest round of drama began after Gomez posted a TikTok in which she was rocking thickly layered eyebrows. Bieber’s friend Kylie Jenner posted an Instagram story shortly after, drawing attention to her own eyebrows. In the second slide of her story, the Kylie Cosmetics founder shared a FaceTime screenshot featuring her and Bieber focusing on their eyebrows.

Social media users quickly noticed the resemblance, and began speculating Jenner’s Instagram story post was a deliberate swipe at Gomez. Although both Bieber and Jenner later denied reports of a falling out between them, fans will continue to scrutinize the narrative surrounding Bieber and Gomez’s relationship.

After weeks of silence, both Gomez and Bieber took to their respective Instagram accounts to address the internet’s fascination surrounding the alleged feud.
