Sofía Vergara has gone on her first romantic date since her divorce from ex-husband Joe Manganiello.
The actress, who recently became a single woman again, was spotted out and about with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman for what appeared to be a romantic night out in Los Angeles.

Vergara wasted no time in finding love for the third time after her recently finalized divorce. The former “Modern Family” actress and her new flame were spotted smiling brightly as they dined at Cipriani restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
For the date, the 51-year-old showed off her sultry style in a sheer black corset top, which she teamed with matching satin slacks and a trench coat draped over her shoulders.
She finished the all-black ensemble with a brown-toned leather clutch bag, while Saliman matched her style with a blue and black plaid shirt and a dark leather jacket. The couple’s relationship first became public in October, three months after her now-estranged husband filed for divorce when they were photographed going out to dinner in Beverly Hills.

Turns out, the mother of one isn’t the only one with a famous past, as Page Six reports that Saliman was previously married to actress Bree Turner. The former couple ended their decade-long marriage with two children in 2018.
Instead, Vergara split from Manganiello in July after seven years of marriage. A source mentioned that the two have been “separated for a while” and decided to take a “distance from each other to reflect on their future.”
Reflecting on the collapse of the union during an interview in January, the Colombian-American superstar admitted:
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger. He wants to have children, and I don’t want to be an old mother. I don’t think it’s fair to the baby. I respect whoever does that, but it’s not for me anymore.”
She also expressed pride in her motherhood journey, sharing, “I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother.” Adding a touch of humor, Vergara imagines a future where love may enter her life but with a ready family. In his words:

Vergara’s revelation about the reasons behind her split with Manganiello follows her appreciation of the press for their respectful coverage of her divorce.
The 51-year-old explained that being in the spotlight automatically means “people know that’s part of being a celebrity.” He added that he “knew it was going to happen” because “you can’t hide that,” before asserting:
“It’s not bad. I think, you know, I have to say the press is very respectful and very kind. And I think they’re going to invent more things, and you know how it usually is. I was shocked and, you know, they, they just said what it was and, and that was it.”
As for life after the split, Vergara previously playfully hinted at moving in New York City when she appeared on an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Speaking about the variety of options she has in the Big Apple, she told Fallon:
“I think you have more options with men too. I’m single now. So in New York, more people, not only like actors, write[rs] or director. I think there’s something bigger… I’m going to spend more time in New York.”
