He recalls, “I grew up in a very tropical climate in Barranquilla, Colombia, and nobody ever told you, ‘Don’t get sunburned’ or ‘Don’t tan,’” he added. “I wish I had made that decision earlier as well for my whole body, but I didn’t. I only thought to save my face, and that was it. So, I haven’t had my face in the sun without protection since the 90s.”
