Actress Daisy Ridley may be ready to return to a galaxy far, far away.
The “Sometimes I Think About Dying” star recently premiered her new film at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. While there, she was asked about her role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, which began with 2015’s “The Force Awakens.”
He continued his role with the controversial 2017 film “The Last Jedi” and completed his part in the nine-episode Skywalker Saga with 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”
Despite this, the 30-year-old actor said that he is “open to a phone call” from Lucasfilm when it comes to his future in the Star Wars franchise.

In a 36-second video from IMDb, Daisy Ridley shares Rey’s proudest scene and discusses her future in a galaxy far, far away.
“Looking back, what Rey scene are you most proud of?” a reporter asked. Daisy replied, “Oh my gosh. The thing that comes to mind is in ‘The Force Awakens’ with Harrison Ford, a lesser known actor. He gave me a gun. I said something like, ‘I can take care of myself’ or something.”
The line is actually “I think I can handle myself” but close enough!

“I was so nervous that when he did it, I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s Harrison Ford,'” Daisy continued. “So I’m, like, proud that I made it through that and looked pretty casual.”
Daisy was then asked, “Do you think you’ll revisit the franchise at some point?” Daisy replied, “I mean, I… I’m open to phone calls. I… I’m looking for a job.”

In March 2022, Daisy Ridley walked the BAFTA red carpet wearing her new pixie cut and a flowing black dress. At the time, the “Murder on the Orient Express” star was also asked if he would return to the galaxy far, far away.

The Hollywood Reporter added that Lindelof was working on a script with Justin Britt-Gibson , who worked as executive story editor on Guillermo del Toro’s vampire series, “The Strain.”
Although the film is a standalone film, sources told the outlet that there is a possibility that the film may turn into a trilogy, or at least get a sequel, if the first film is successful.
