Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is infamous for the 2018 mass shooting that killed 14 students and three teachers.

Former student Nikolas Cruz was sentenced to 17 life sentences last year for the Valentine’s Day massacre.

Police said Cruz stormed the school with an AR-15 assault rifle and opened fire — spraying defenseless victims with bullets and in some cases turning around to finish off the wounded.

On February 15 of this year — the day after the fifth anniversary of the shooting — the school was placed on lockdown after educators received a “suspicious phone call.”
