He started his career as a theater artist. He debuted in the 1989 Hindi film, ‘Eeshwar;’ starring Anil Kapoor and Vijayshanti. Some of his other Bollywood films are ‘Jigar’ (1992), ‘Parwane’ (1993), ‘Putravati’ (1996), ‘Sarfarosh’ (1999), and ‘Rakhta Charitra’ (2010).
