Supermodel Gisele Bündchen’s mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, has reportedly died at the age of 75. He died at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital in Porto Alegre Sunday.
Nonnenmacher, who is a retired banker, is married to Valdir Bündchen, a university professor. The couple share six daughters, including Gisele and her twin sister Patricia.

According to reports, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has lost her mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher. The 75-year-old died on Sunday following a battle with cancer.
Besides Gisele, Nonnenmacher has five other daughters, namely Patrícia, Rafaela, Raquel, Graziela, and Gabriela. He is also a retired banker, having worked at Banco do Brasil.
There will be a wake for Nonnenmacher at the Metropolitan Crematorium in the Ecumenical Chapel of Porto Alegre on Monday morning, after which a farewell service will follow.
Meanwhile, Gisele has yet to speak about her mother’s death. He last shared a series of photos of Nonnenmacher in 2022 to mark his 73rd birthday.
Gisele wrote at the time, “Happy birthday Mom! I am forever grateful for all you have done and continue to do for us. Thank you for always loving, inspiring, and teaching us. Thank you for giving me life! Love you so much!”
During the conversation with Harper’s Bazaar for the cover shoot, Gisele shared a touching memory of her mother, noting how she inspired her meal planning.
He said, “If we have [a] barbecue on Sunday, all the other meat will go to arroz carreteiro on Monday, which is just rice and meat mixed with some onions and tomatoes.
