Love and support is pouring in for Bruce Willis and his family!
Ever since his family shared the latest heartbreaking news about his health, celebrities and fans alike have started pouring in their well-wishes for the 67-year-old. The Willis-Moore clan revealed that the beloved patriarch was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) nearly a year after he officially retired from acting. Willis withdrew from Hollywood to focus on dealing with his early medical diagnosis, aphasia, which caused a decline in his communication abilities.

During his time as a screen star, Willis delighted many fans with his appearances in films such as “Die Hard” and “Moonlighting.” Thus, it was with sadness that many received the news of his retirement and the medical diagnosis that led to that decision.
In another touch, Demi Moore — his wife from 1987 to 2000 — together with his daughter Rummer Willis shared that the actor has been diagnosed with FTD, which has symptoms such as personality changes, obsessive behavior and difficulty speaking. For the announcement, the “General Hospital” actor posted a picture of Willis looking happy in a t-shirt and baggy shorts on the beach.
For the caption, Moore began by expressing “the deepest thanks to her family for the outpouring of love, support and beautiful stories” that fans have shared since the aphasia news broke.

In the same spirit, the family felt the need to inform fans and followers about the health of the “Moonrise Kingdom” actor because “we now have a deeper understanding of what he is going through.” Moore wrote:
“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in the spring of 2022, Bruce’s condition has evolved, and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the illness Bruce is dealing with. As painful as this was, it was a relief to finally get a clear diagnosis.”
As expected, the news caught the attention of hundreds, with over 19k people taking to the comments section. “Brown’s Requiem” actress Selma Blair led the charge, writing, “Sending love,” while Paris Hilton dropped three red heart emojis along with sending her love to the family.
Likewise, actor Aaron Paul commented, “I love you so much my friend! ❤️ Sending hugs to you and your beautiful family.” Creative director Alaina Hadid pleaded, “Please take a moment to give yourself a moment of love so you have more energy to give,” while sending the family love.
Choreographer Spencer Liff also advised the Willis-Moore clan to make sure they laugh as much as they cry. A look at Twitter revealed the same intensity as the love show, with CNN anchor Jake Tapper send all his prayers and love to Willis.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver also expressed her condolences and highlighted the fact that the Willis-Moore family deserves support in the coming days. Despite ongoing health challenges rocking their marriage, Bruce’s wife, Emma Hemming Willis, remains hopeful, basking in the euphoria of their love. The Blast notes that the model uploaded an image of herself and the Golden Globe Award winner to mark National Boyfriend Day on her Instagram Story last October.
In the throwback photo, the 44-year-old is wearing a white top with a diamond bracelet and matching diamond earrings. Her wavy black hair was left hanging over her face and down her shoulders.
As for the “Sixth Sense” actor, he rocked a t-shirt, accessorizing with sunglasses and a hat. Bruce added a bright smile to the 2008 photo as his wife hugged him, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Emma playfully wrote, “while he was my bf, and we lived in sin,” across from the photo. The “Red 2” stars have been married for over a decade since they met and often make fans jealous of their beautiful blended family.
