It’s that time again: Taylor Swift fans are trying to get tickets to the ‘Eras Tour’ show for the recently announced dates!
MEGA
Swift’s blockbuster tour- her first in half a decade- kicked off earlier this year and started generating headlines early. Fans started facing problems as soon as tickets went on sale. Prospective buyers experienced obstacles while trying to purchase from Ticketmaster including multiple crashes. The disaster will lead to a group of Swift fans ‘Swifties’ coming together to sue the ticketing giant; Ticketmaster will then apologize. The “Better Than Revenge” singer will also speak out against Ticketmaster.
Despite the drama from the recent past, Swifties have found themselves face-to-face with the outlet once again as Swift has added several new dates to the tour, including six in Toronto, Canada. Just like they did before, Swifties took to social media to express their joy and voice their grievances from their time fighting in the ‘Great War!’
Swift Recently Announced Additional Dates For ‘The Eras Tour!’
Almost a week ago, the “Daylight” singer brought sunshine to her fans- the 33-year-old singer announced additional US shows after she completed the global leg of her tour. The Eras Tour is one to remember: a satellite company recently took pictures from above, showing the crowd and many vehicles in attendance from the recent show in Denver!
The “Red” singer announced he would be joined by Gracie Abrams for the additional dates in his Instagram post about the additional dates; He will stop in Florida, Indiana and Louisiana for the US portion. Canadian fans expressed their dismay that Swift apparently only visited one city in Canada. All these dates will take place next year.
‘Swifties’ Face Ticketmaster For Another Round of ‘Ticketgate’
Social media is filled with stories from Swifties about their experience trying to get tickets again!
Many Swifties use X to share their stories. The number of tweets brought “Ticketmaster” to trending status on Tuesday afternoon.
“Hi Ticketmaster,” a Swiftie started their tweet, “I have concerns. On a normal, happy, sunny day, I worry about the smallest things. Beg for mercy and start emailing my friends so we can all breathe,” they pleaded.

“DON’T EMAIL ME TODAY IF YOU’RE NOT TICKETMASTER OR TAYLOR SWIFT,” another Swiftie plead.
I don’t think Ticketmaster understands that I’m just a 29 year old teenage girl trying to help the economy by buying Taylor Swift Tickets pic.twitter.com/EmAV5hkwyn

“I’m really nervous about the actual sale but I mean taylor and tree are definitely ripping off the new ticketmaster, I think they should at least try a little to reduce the negative impact this time,” a Swiftie contemplated.
“Waiting for a fan email to be confirmed by ticketmaster is like being a healthy 18-year-old in 1945 waiting to be drafted,” Swiftie declared.

“I hate that they call it a CONFIRMED fan. Where do you verify people who sign up are fans> Ticketmaster shouldn’t decide which of us are ‘verified’ fans. Literally, just call it what it is- a random person,” a Swiftie said.
“irrationally angry at every company that emailed me today because they didn’t Ticketmaster tell me that I was selected as a verified Taylor Swift fan,” a Swiftie declaredalong with the disgusted emoji.
“I really think somewhere out there there’s an office full of Ticketmaster employees laughing like crazy and just debating how long they can drag this out,” another theorized.

“It’s 2023 and for some reason we keep letting Ticketmaster decide who is allowed to buy tickets to concerts??? Why can they just pick whoever they want to go on this show? How is there not a better process that guarantees real fans get tickets?” a Swiftie ask.
I’m starting to think this is Ticketmaster’s punishment for our hate campaign after last time
