Sydney Sweeney has revealed that her father “walked out” while watching her nude scene in “Euphoria.” She opened up about the incident in a recent interview, also stating that she did not prepare her father for the plan’s explicitness.

Speaking on an upcoming episode of “Sunday Today with Willie Geist,” Sweeney revealed that her father, Steven, was uncomfortable watching her make out scene in “Euphoria,” per Page Six.
“My dad and my grandfather turned it off and walked out,” said Sweeney, who stars in the HBO show as Cassie. He added, “But my grandmother, my grandmother — she’s my biggest supporter. He’s a big fan of mine.”
Apparently the father thought the show was just like any other and was shocked when he saw that his daughter had to strip several times.
Meanwhile, Sweeney also blamed himself for his reaction, saying that he wasn’t “prepared” at all. He, however, admits that they usually never discuss work, which may cause omissions on his part.
Sweeney said, “When I talk to my dad, it’s usually not about work … We talk like a father-daughter conversation.”

Last year, the actor revealed in an interview with Free that she was not comfortable with her “Euphoria” character who had to do many nude scenes.
At the time, she shared that she took her concerns to “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson, asking him to remove “unnecessary” pornographic content.
“There was a moment where [my character] Cassie should be shirtless, and I’m going to tell Sam, ‘I don’t think that’s necessary here,’” he told the outlet.
Sydney later stated that Levinson complied with her request, adding that the filmmaker did not try to force her to do explicit scenes.
“I never felt that Sam pushed it or tried to put nudity into the HBO show,” she added. “When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t make me.”

Although Sweeney’s character in “Euphoria” is known for his relationship problems, the actor himself has known his share of life.
