In a new TikTok video, Holmes looks back on her “elevating” broadcast journalism career and shares that she embraces a positive perspective.
In the clip, the 46-year-old said, “I’m a longtime podcaster, partner, and broadcast journalist, and my 25-plus year career in broadcast journalism took a turn for the worse about a year ago when several aspects of my personal life, including the I found, became tabloid fodder.”
Describing the period as a “hell year,” she revealed that the scandal forced her to take a break from social media. However, the former co-host of “GMA3” now sees that period as one of the best blessings.
“I think going through it, I would call it the worst year of my life,” he explained, “but now, as I sit here before you some perspective, it was the best year of my life and one of the best. blessings of my life.”

Though ABC ended Holmes and Robach following the revelation of their relationship at work, Holmes now claims he is at his happiest and healthiest, attributing much of that to Robach.
Expressing gratitude for living authentically, she stated, “A lot of it has to do with living authentically, and a lot of it has to do with who I’m with and yes, to my dear Amy Robach, who I’m living my life with now. with and navigate life with now.” Holmes added, “He’s a big part of it and a big part of my everyday life.”

“I have chosen the love of my life, and I am very excited about that path,” said the former anchorwoman. “I live my truth. There’s a price to pay, but I’m excited about the future.”
Determined to “take it back [her] narrative,” Robach plans to reveal his “real” self, avoiding the scandal that got him and Holmes fired from ABC and lost his “worldly possessions”.

“You’re always trying to find the right balance between your kids and your partner and bring everyone together,” she added.
However, despite their “uninspiring” family integration, the pressure took its toll, leading the couple to openly share their experiences with alcohol consumption, especially during periods of unemployment.
“I don’t have a job to go to, and I’m far from many friends and family. We are lying low. So what do I do? I drank a lot,” Robach admitted. “More than I’ve ever experienced. I don’t think I’ve ever gone a full year where I drank every day, and that was 2023 for me.
Holmes also admitted that he would “easily go through 18 drinks a day,” prompting concern from Robach. The two also shared a breakdown of their alcohol purchases for the month, and the money they spent totaled a staggering $2,869.
