Tamar Braxton and Jeremy’ JR’ Robinson have ended their engagement after six months together!
The estranged couple who found each other on the reality dating series “Queens Court” is now over, with Robinson announcing the news with a controversial statement on Monday.
However, Braxton probably hinted that things weren’t going so well in their paradise a few days ago.

Following weeks of speculation by fans since the last time the “Love and War” singer posted about her man, Robinson has finally broken her silence on the state of their relationship.

“So many questions, so many assumptions. I would like to answer all that I can respectfully. yes. Tamar and I are no longer together,” the lawyer began the statement on his Instagram Story. As for why they called it quits, Robinson revealed:
“I ended the relationship to focus back on positive energy and being a better person. What happened and why — that’s our private place.”
Answering the big question of whether infidelity played a role in their breakup, Robinson confirmed it didn’t. “No. I’m not cheating. Nope. I was not at his mother’s house when her car was robbed,” he added.
The reality star declared she is not with the iconic singer because she wants to be famous. “Who revealed the most embarrassing moments of their lives to find fame? He questioned. Robinson explained that he was constantly hanging out with famous people thanks to his work as a lawyer. She also stated that she was thriving mentally and financially when she started dating Braxton.
After turning it down several times, the 48-year-old insisted that she join “Queens Court” – the Peacock dating series where she and Braxton got engaged. “Finally, I fell in love, and it didn’t end the way I wanted it to…So, I want to heal.”
Ending the informative message, Robinson wrote, “Tamar and I will always be friends and family for life. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

While Robinson appears to be the only one to have gone public about their failed engagement, days before its revelation, her now-ex-fiancé shared a cryptic post hinting at trouble.
“When people are calculated and cruel, God will surely deal with you ??♀️,” he wrote in a September 30 tweet on Xformerly known as Twitter.
Braxton Praises Robinson For Giving ‘Traditional Love’
Fans may remember that the “Braxton Family Values” star shared the news of her surprise engagement to Robinson on Instagram back in March. In the now-deleted post, which also marked her 46th birthday, she shared a touching video of her and Robinson enjoying drinks at a restaurant.
“It’s my birthday, but I have to send the person who put this cheesy smile on my face,” she wrote. “It took me a while to realize that this wholesome Traditional love was the kind I wanted and needed.”
Responding to rumors about Robinson having children with four different women, Braxton stated that she loves their blended family of six children before adding, “We’re blessed And the drama. Thank you God for my best friend, life partner, and fiancé @rarebreednola. My happiest birthday, ❤️ I don’t miss our love story at @peacock #queenscourt.”
In a subsequent interview, the four-time Grammy nominee claimed she and Robinson bonded over their shared grief. The singer lost her sister Traci Braxton in 2022 to cancer; the lawyer also lost his mother.
Opening up about their relationship, Braxton said on the episode “Queen’s Court,” “I know I’m different from my sisters. I pray that someone will understand me, not see me and my weaknesses, and accept me as I am. And then I met you [Robinson]. And then I saw everything I prayed for as a child.”

During the proposal, Robinson declared that he not only wanted to be “friends” but also husband to Braxton. “Tamar, I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me”?
Braxton has a nine-year-old son, Logan, who she shares with her ex-husband, Vincent Herbert. She was also engaged to Nigerian actor David Adefeso before they ended the relationship due to domestic violence.
