A Florida woman pretended to be a 14-year-old homeschooler to prey on high school students for sex, police announced Friday.
Alyssa Ann Zinger, 22, was arrested last week for allegedly engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with at least one student and sending explicit videos to several others.
“It is alarming and disturbing to see adults taking advantage of children and preying on them,” Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said in a statement.
“Anyone who may have been a victim of Zinger, we encourage you to come forward. The Tampa Police Department will stand by you and ensure that predators like Zinger do not cause additional harm to you or others.”
Zinger allegedly created his fake persona and communicated with his victims on social media platforms, primarily Snapchat, according to a search warrant obtained by the Tampa Bay Times.

Many of the victims, who attended Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood, told police they believed Zinger was their age but had been homeschooled.
“There are believed to be additional victims,” Tampa police said.
The accused predator allegedly began a sexual relationship with one of the victims in May, which lasted until September, the warrant states.
The victim – a boy aged between 12 and 15 – told police that the couple had sex several times and that Zinger sent him explicit photos and videos.
Another said Zinger sent videos to several children via Snapchat depicting sexual relations.
Zinger allegedly admitted to a victim that he had engaged in sexual activity with another minor.
The accused and one of the children were caught shoplifting at Nordstrom in July, according to documents.
He allegedly tried to save face in front of his victim and told an officer he was born in 2009, a lie he could not verify.

The official confirmed the only other Alyssa Ann Zinger he could find information on was born in 2001.
In a desperate attempt to deceive, Zinger claimed he had a half-sister with the same name, according to the warrant.
Police had already been investigating Zinger for about a year, according to the warrant.
The officer then debunked his lie by requesting government, school and employment records, as well as following up with his Tampa Publix employer, all of which confirmed he was an adult.
One of his victims came forward about Zinger’s alleged inappropriate behavior just three months later.
Zinger was charged with two counts of lewd and lasciviousness, and five counts of lewd or lasciviousness on a victim between the ages of 12 and 15, records show.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released from jail the day of his arrest after posting $7,500 bond on each second-degree felony count.
