Tamra Judge’s daughter, Sophia, is not interested in going back to school after being traumatized.
Both staff and students, including the teenager, were forced to run for cover after a man armed with a gun found his way into the school during class time. Fortunately, authorities have arrested the undisclosed individual, and the details of the incident are still emerging.

Although no one appeared to be physically harmed in the incident, Hakim’s daughter was traumatized by the close call, stating that she never wanted to set foot on the campus again.
According to PEOPLE, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star recounted the heartbreaking moments leading up to the 17-year-old’s decision, beginning when her high school was locked down after a gunman entered the premises.

Via her Instagram Story, she shared a screenshot of a “text that parents don’t want to receive” that read, “Not practice… We’re locked in a classroom with the lights off.”
Sophia later told her panicked mother that she was “hiding now” and could hear police sirens but wasn’t sure if “there was a shooter.” Explaining more details about the incident after the man was arrested, the professional fitness trainer appeared in a video in the second Story, stating:
“You get a text, and you’re so helpless. There’s nothing you can do in this damn world. I’m so sick of it. I’m so sick of what happened. My daughter now doesn’t want to go back to school. It’s her senior year. It must stop!”
He then explained that students had to barricade themselves in their classrooms with bookshelves, with teachers arming them with weapons in case things got worse. “A teacher holds out a hammer; another has a fire extinguisher, ready to chase someone. The child was crying, ‘I don’t want to die,’” Hakim said.
In the chaos, authorities revealed that the man had been arrested for trespassing, with a pocket knife found on him when he was searched. Following the update, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave took to her Instagram Story to share a message to Judge. The self-proclaimed accountability coach wrote:
“What happened with [Tamra Judge’s] today’s daughter is terrible. I’m so glad he’s safe. No child should feel unsafe at school. And parents don’t have to worry about their child’s safety while there. We have to fix this!”
