The American Pie alum made some candid statements about having a family to boost her career. Brave interview comes from Mr. Warburton magazine. Reid reminded the crowd of her status, “I’m not married, I don’t have kids … and I think, in Hollywood, if you don’t have kids or you’re not married, you’re judged.”
She’s still trying to shake the party girl image that plagued most of her youth in Hollywood. “So they still think you’re the party girl of 40 years ago.” She believes that if she had followed the path of motherhood, her career would have been in a much different place.

Reid admits that his career has hit some bumps, especially after the role in American Pie which seems to define her in the industry, the fictional Victoria “Vicky” Lathum. The only way to shake that image is to grow up.
This means taking on traditional roles that aren’t necessarily appealing to him. He told the publication he has realized that if you have a child and you get married, ‘Oh, he grows up, he’s great.
That was not a path Reid wanted to take or felt the need to continue. “What if you can’t have children or don’t want to get married?” he noted. “You can’t judge people on that anymore. And that’s one thing I don’t think is fair about our society.”

The actress said she can’t take credit for the decisions she chose because women in the industry before her have also made choices that have impacted their lives and seen strange changes in their careers. Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler, he said to name a few.
“If it’s meant to happen, it’s going to happen, but you can’t keep dragging people’s faces into it. Like getting over it; there are other things to discuss,” he continued. “I think people need to leave privacy alone when it comes to that level of personal stuff.”
And not one to brag, she told the publication that she’s “never been happier” and that her career is on the rise because she’ll be starring in the series “Walking In LA”

The actor wants to enjoy his youth in Hollywood. She was one of the hot girls of the late 90s to early 2000s and took it strong. “I was the first person to start this image, but the difference is that I never made a sex tape; I have never done anything wrong.”
Reid maintains that he is not what everyone thinks he is. “I never got a speeding ticket,” he explained. However, he remembers being “punished” by the tabloids for “throwing the bottle and having a good time.”
It probably doesn’t help that she labels herself the “party godmother.” He admitted afterwards, “I just attacked,” the paparazzi constantly watching him. “It’s pretty horrible. And that’s why I left,” he said of his exit from Hollywood.
Now, back and armed with his comedy series, Reid isn’t backing down from the pressures of Hollywood.
