Following Jennifer Coolidge’s meteoric rise in popularity over the past few years, one of her co-stars is itching to get back on screen with her.

Reid’s acting career hasn’t been as fruitful as Coolidge’s, but he hopes his ‘AP’ star will use his recent success to get another sequel in the works.
Speaking on Australia’s “Studio 10” TV show, Reid praised and loved Coolidge.
If you’ve never seen any of the original “American Pie” movies, Coolidge played the sultry and sexy mother of Steven Stifler, also known as “Stifler’s Mom.”

Because of this role the acronym “MILF” was born.
If you don’t know what MILF means… you’re either too young or you need to look it up.
Reid plays “Vicky Lathum,” the blonde bombshell who dates “Kevin Myers” portrayed by Thomas Ian Nicholas.
“First of all, I am very proud and happy for Jennifer Coolidge, who is probably one of the greatest women and people in the world. He really is a comedic genius without trying. And he was so sweet,” Reid said.
Plus, if you’re part of the second half Millennial or Gen-Zer… then you probably don’t know that Coolidge has been a staple of comedy and Hollywood since the early 90s.
He has been part of the “mockumentary” film Christopher Guests.
However, Coolidge credits Ariana Grande for reviving her career. She reprized her “Legally Blonde” role as Paulette Bonafonté.
We’ll get to that in just a second, but back to the potential “American Pie” sequel.
If you’re a fan of the movie, then you know there were four installments with the OG cast including Reid and Coolidge. There are several spin-offs of this series.

While accepting her Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series Golden Globe Award earlier this year, Coolidge joked about her countless appearances on the series.
“You know like five different sequels to ‘American Pie.’ I milked it to the bone. I mean, I’m still going for six or seven, whatever they want,” Coolidge joked.
This comment burned Reid’s heart!
“When she said that, we were all like, ‘Yay! You’re a powerful woman now. Push forward.’ So let’s see what we can do with that one,” Reid said.
Playing the role of “Mother Stifler” not only helped her professional life, it helped her sex life as well.
During the 2022 interview with DiversityCoolidge admitted that playing that particular role had him doing a horizontal mambo with more than 200 men.
“I got a lot of play as a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,'” she said at the time. “There are many benefits to doing the film. I mean, there are about 200 people I would never sleep with.”

As mentioned earlier, his friendship with Grande helped rekindle his relevance, his popularity and his viral notoriety.
Grande interviewed Coolidge for the latter’s election as part of EW“Entertainer of the Year” 2022 cover story.
“I wonder if you know that when people ask about how my life has changed… Yes, I got to do ‘White Lotus,’ but I think it really started with you asking me to be in the ‘Thank You, Next’ video .’” he told the Grammy-winning artist. I strongly believe that. I think if you hadn’t put me in ‘Thank You, Next,’ and done that imitation, I don’t think I’d be here where I am… I’m kind of flat, and you got something for me. I just want to say thank you. I know you’re very humble, you won’t admit it, but I’ll just thank you.”
