Tarek El Moussa Announces Date For Final Episode Of ‘Flip or Flop’

Former couple Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall teamed up for one last project called “Flip or Flop: The Final Flip.”

The couple, who were married from 2009 to 2018, will join forces to renovate a duplex in Sunset Beach – one of their most complex projects to date – before officially parting ways as co-stars following their divorce. El Moussa shared details about the upcoming show in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

In an image accompanying the announcement, El Moussa appeared in his signature pose – one hand in his pocket – next to Hall, who was standing akimbo. While the 41-year-old was wearing a blue collared shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes, his ex was wearing a green and black top, blue jeans and boots. El Moussa began his caption by recalling how special ten years of filming “Flip or Flop” have been. He later wrote:

“We’re running one last project in a one-hour Flip or Flop special and it’s one you can’t miss. If you’ve been a Flip or Flop watcher from day one, you’ve really seen it all when it comes to our flips: the good, the bad, the ugly, the funny, the gross, etc. and you’ve also seen it all when it comes to our lives: children -our children grow up, our life experiences, our business grows, etc. I can’t tell you how much it means to have the love and support of your friends for 10 years and without you, I really wouldn’t be where I am today.”

El Moussa assured fans that even though it is “the end of “Flip or Flop,” they can watch his solo shows, “The Flipping El Moussas” and “Flipping 101.” As for the final episode of his reality series with his ex, he revealed it will air on HGTV on Thursday, December 1, at 8 p.m.

He ended the lengthy statement by thanking his 1.2 million fans for being “loyal to our show,” asking those who “HAVE been watching since day one or anywhere close to it” to “comment below so I can show you some love !!”

Shortly after his post went live, Hall reposted it on his Instagram story with a countdown timer attached to it. He added his own message throughout the post, which read, “MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR DEC 1. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS EPISODE OF #FLIPORFLOP.”

In their final special together, El Moussa and Hall will provide footage of the construction and renovation of the Sunset Beach home. There’s also an interview clip of the former couple discussing the “wildest moment” they’ve had in the ten seasons spent filming “Flip or Flop.”

The show ran from April 2013 to March 2022, with the exes continuing to film after filing for divorce in 2017. The HGTV star has since moved on, with Hall getting her own reality series, “Christina on the Coast.”

As The Blast reported in March, the reality series follows the 39-year-old’s life as a career woman and mother to her three children — Hudson London Anstead, Brayden El Moussa, and Taylor El Moussa.

In June, The Blast reported that Tarek and his current wife, Heather, showed their love to the screen, thanks to their series, “The Flipping El Moussas.” The delighted “Selling Sunset” star took to her Instagram to share the news with her three million followers. Uploading four photos of him and his lover posing in different homes, the 35-year-old wrote:

“Excited to finally share some really exciting news! After many conversations, we finally realized one of our goals and are excited to announce our all new series, The Flipping El Moussas with HGTV coming in 2023!”

The post has over 260k likes, with many sending congratulatory messages for the couple’s success. While some highlighted their “excitement” at seeing the couple, others dropped love and fire emojis in anticipation.

However, some critics felt that the documentary was a waste of time. In fact, one joked it was “basically flip or flop 2.0,” and another claimed that it was a “copycat” series. This project will be presented in two parts; a show about house flipping and a reality series documenting the daily lives of Tarek and his pregnant wife.
