The 32-year-old recently spoke out and discussed her breakup with Zac Clark, who proposed to Adams on “The Bachelorette,” and why she kept the details secret.
“He and I both know the truth and our position, and I have never actually said anything in the media about our relationship except [that] we are no longer together,” he said. “And I know people might think otherwise, but that’s the only statement we’ve ever given. I think it’s just something about maturity and how we decide to move on and yeah, at the end of the day, nobody else needs to know anything else.”
Tayshia Adams also explained what she learned from her experience as the lead on ABC’s “The Bachelorette.”
“My biggest lesson [was] just to stay true to me and I think I did that,” he said. “I’m really proud of that and I feel like some people get caught up in the mix of everything and I think the best way — the best practice — is just to be you. And I think with that, all these things have come and it just finds you when you’re honest with yourself. So I think that’s my biggest lesson is to stay still and be grateful for everything.”
