The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp revealed on IG that she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma. She showed off the pink scars to prove it.
Teddi Mellencamp Has An Uphill Battle

“Melanoma awareness update. Despite my concerns, I listened to my doctor’s advice and went for a 3 month skin check last week since my previous melanoma,” began the emotional post. “Had another abnormal spot near my last spot so they did a biopsy. I got the call this morning: Stage 2 melanoma,” she bravely revealed to her one million followers.
The Bravo alum continues to reveal more of her story and what her journey looks like from here.
“Now, next Wednesday I go to the oncologist to cut it out and make a game plan for the next step. Of course, this is all pending some additional tests and another nearby biopsy taken today,”

The podcast host wants everyone to take care of their health. “Moral of the story: if the doctor says, “come in every 3 months” please come in every 3 months. I really want to get rid of it,” he admitted.
Thankfully, he didn’t “What can happen in 3 months?” I think. Apparently a lot.” The accountability coach insisted it was his responsibility to pay attention to the diagnosis because of his upbringing in the 90s.
“I continue to share this journey because I was still a teenager in the 90s, putting baby oil and iodine on my skin to tan it. Never wore sunscreen or checked my moles until I was 40. This has been a wake-up call for me, and I hope for all of you, to love and protect the skin you have.”

The 41-year-old jumped on his IG Story and revealed even more to his followers. “So, I just finished working out and I got a call from the doctor that the other place came back with melanoma and they asked me to come in right away.”
Teddi choked back tears as she revealed her story at the doctor’s office. She referred to the whole situation as “facing my fear,” she was understandably scared to do the test and even take that first step into the doctor’s office.
She promised to keep fans posted on her process “go get your skin checked: she said firmly. Her follow-up IG stories were two posts that gave followers a closer look at before and after photos of her melanoma, which she had biopsied the previous week.
Khloe Kardashian Has A Skin Fright Too

Like Teddi, Khloe Kardashian also took to her Instagram Story to share with curious followers who spotted her wearing a skin-tone bandage on the side of her face. He wrote.
“After seeing a small lump on my face and thinking it was something small like a pimple, I decided to do a biopsy 7 months after realizing it wasn’t moving.”
She proudly posted a few pictures of the bump and even a cool slo-mo video of her rocking the band-aid.
Like Mellencamp, KoKo is shaken but knows he is a step in the right direction by getting the help he needs. He took the time to send several dermatologists who helped him along the way and who would be happy to help others in need.
