Reality TV star Jenelle Evans doesn’t plan on letting her so-called “volatile” anywhere near their daughter without enough proof of her mental stability.
The “Teen Mom” alum recently filed to end her marriage to David Eason after six years, dropping harsh allegations about his behavior. She is seeking full custody of their daughter, Ensley, because she believes the father’s paternity issues are hindering her ability to parent.

As part of the legal filing for separation, Evans slammed her soon-to-be ex-husband for being a terrible father to their 7-year-old daughter. She claims Eason was negligent in his duties when he had been the little girl’s primary caretaker her entire life.
MEGA In her complaint, Evans asserts that she, the Plaintiff, is entitled to full custody of Ensley because she is “a fit and proper person to have primary physical custody of the minor child.” The document continues:
“At almost all times, plaintiff is responsible for the minor’s daily needs and is the sole parent who researches, evaluates, selects and follows up with the minor’s treatment providers, extracurriculars and enrichment activities.”
The “Teen Mom 2” alum paints herself as a parent who always and continues to strive for Ensley’s happiness and well-being, which is why her estranged lover shouldn’t be allowed near the girl without proof of her mental stability. His request, according to The US Sun, reads:
“It is in the best interest of the minor that the plaintiff be granted primary physical custody of the minor and that the defendant’s visitation and/or custody be based on a mental health evaluation to ensure his fitness and ability to care for the minor that. “
In addition to criticizing Eason’s alleged unstable mental health, the reality TV star also slammed him for failing to care about their daughter’s well-being. He highlighted one instance where the father didn’t check in with Ensley after their breakup.
The little girl allegedly has a medical appointment with an ear, nose, and throat doctor that will likely result in surgery. However, Eason allegedly “made no inquiries about the child’s well-being, treatment plan, or appointment status.”

The allegations don’t stop at Eason’s negligence as Evans claims he has a “history of erratic behavior” and “substance abuse,” which hinders his ability to parent their daughter.
He explained that “excessive alcohol consumption and short temper create a negative environment for minors.” This left the family said to feel like they had to walk on eggshells around Eason “because his mood swings were unpredictable and varied in their intensity.”
For his and his family’s safety, Evans asked the court to order Eason to submit to a psychological evaluation with the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory test).
He claims the results of this test will allow the court to correctly determine the fitness of his parents. In addition, the media personality wants her estranged husband to know about their daughter’s well-being.
Evans asked the court to order Eason to “pay the costs of the uninsured minor’s medical, dental, vision, orthodontic, prescription drug, counseling, tutoring and testing expenses.”
“Although the defendant has a long history of unstable employment, the defendant has skills and trades that allow him to earn sufficient income to contribute to the support of the minor,” Evans argued in his filing, adding:
“The plaintiff is entitled to receive child support from the defendant commensurate with the needs of the minor and the lifestyle he is used to.”
