Ryan Edwards, star of Teen Mom, was arrested on February 10 on charges of violating a protective order granted when it was discovered that he was cheating on his wife, Mackenzie Standifer. Police found cocaine in Edwards’ possession when they searched him.

Standifer filed a complaint alleging Ryan Edwards also communicated with his father Bob, which Ryan was not allowed to do. Following his arrest, the sheriff’s office said in a news release that Edwards violated the Order of Protection by contacting Mackenzie’s father and threatening to remove his belongings from the Standifer home. The statement continued, saying:
“While investigating the violation of the Protective Order, HCSO investigators discovered that Ryan had an active harassment warrant issued by the Chattanooga Police Department. In that incident, Mackenzie was named as the victim. The warrant was issued on February 8, 2023.”
