Two months after Messer announced that she had called off her engagement to Mobley, the reality star is finally sharing some information about the split. follow E! NewsDuring the Dec. 27 reunion episode of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” Messer explained that she couldn’t share important details about that part of her life.
He confirmed to the reunion host Nessa Dian and Dr. Drew Pinsky that he “didn’t cheat” and stated that Mobley would eventually share, but “it’s not my right to do that.” When asked if Mobley cheated or did something bad, Messer sheepishly said that was something “his ex-fiancée would have to talk about.”
The reality star later admitted that “legally, I can’t share” information about the split because she signed an NDA. Speaking about the breakup, Messer said, “I definitely have questions. I’m so confused. Have we been living a lie for a year and a half?”

Messer, who raised three daughters, twins Aliannah Hope and Aleeah Grace, and Adalynn Faith, also explained that the breakup affected her children greatly. She said, “They still want Jay to come. We still love him,” but his presence in their lives is unlikely now.
Messer continued, “You can’t change someone, but if you’re not in a place where you know who you are, how can I have a romantic relationship with you? That doesn’t make sense.” She previously opened up about their relationship in an interview with E! News.
During a January interview, Messer called Mobley “absolutely perfect.” He also said, “He is every quality I want in a person. The way he is with my kids, I don’t know if there will be another one because he is amazing.”
